5/11 assignment.

Through slides 9-12 most of it discusses the rule of Tarquin and his family who is involved in it. It discusses how he gain power through enforcement as well as how his family members such as Tullia, Sextus, and Lucretia. living under his rule was not very pleasant for the Roman citizens but the citizens rebelled against the family, expelling them from Rome.  Slides 13-22 discuss how the Roman government was ran. The rule of Kings was replaced by the rule of two consuls. The common people then overthrew that rule. This can relate to our government as citizens are not always happy with who our leaders are no matter who they might be which can relate Rome as explained in the PowerPoint.

I have read, analyzed, and comprehended what Mr. Schick has written on his blog for today's assignment. I feel like I have done a good job of not breaking the academic honor code and keeping my integrity throughout this stay at home period. My essay question will be, "How were the three main ancient Greek philosophers all similar and different to each other?" In the first paragraph the essay will mention all three of the philosophers being Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle. It will give a brief description of both and explain their main philosophies. The second paragraph will go into detail about how all of their thoughts went against what the Greek government was teaching by giving specific examples. The third paragraph will show the philosophers respective ideas went against each others, again by including specific examples. The fourth paragraph will explain where their teachings led them to. Basically what the outcome of their teachings on the community. The last paragraph will be a conclusion on all of the philosophers and restate the beginning thesis in a different way.
