I will be taking my test on June 2 and at 8 AM.

Juvenal stated that the only way to keep plebs happy is bread and circuses
Tiberius Gracchus saw the good in becoming more friendly and siding with the plebs while in power
But the plebs were more loyal to their military than their government and listened to them since they protected them
Caesar was a highly successful leader and conquered Gaul
Caesar made common folks happy

"crossing the rubicon" is considered the point of no return
Caesar serves as a consul for one year then names himself the leader of Gaul
Pompey then becomes jealous and turns out to be his rival
In 44 B.C he is named for dictator for six months then becomes dictator for life
Caesar granted citizenship to people in provinces
He also expanded the senate adding some his friends into the government
Caesar has a famous quote stating, "Thus always to tyrants"
Caesar was assassinated because the other senates saw him as a threat to their power
Senators were not punished and this essentially ended the Roman Republic
