Letter to my future slef

In 40 or 50 years from now I think we will still all remember this pandemic and what it did to the world. Everyone has pretty much been in self isolation for around 3 months now everything is now starting to reopen slowly. I am now allowed to start having baseball practice after 3 months of not playing at all. During this time I have been able to lift 2 times a day and because of that my velocity is now around 82 mph. I also have been able to come closer with my family as we go on dog walks pretty much every night in the field across the street. I have been playing video games with my friends almost every night so I have gotten closer with them. During this time I have been both grateful that none of my family members or loved ones have received. But I am also frustarated that I cannot see my friends and baseball. But I understand that no one can control it so you cannot get to upset. During the summer I am expecting to things to continue to start reopneing. I am going to beach with tw

Essay choice

For my essay I am going to do Choice A which "Compare and Contrast the government of ancient Rome with the government of the modern-day United states." I feel like this is a good question for me because I have a good bit knowledge about how the U.S government works and functions so if I review the study guide a bit more and text I shall be able to do the same with the Ancient Rome government as well. I think question will suit me well and I will be able to get a good grade on this essay.

5/11 assignment.

Through slides 9-12 most of it discusses the rule of Tarquin and his family who is involved in it. It discusses how he gain power through enforcement as well as how his family members such as Tullia, Sextus, and Lucretia. living under his rule was not very pleasant for the Roman citizens but the citizens rebelled against the family, expelling them from Rome.  Slides 13-22 discuss how the Roman government was ran. The rule of Kings was replaced by the rule of two consuls. The common people then overthrew that rule. This can relate to our government as citizens are not always happy with who our leaders are no matter who they might be which can relate Rome as explained in the PowerPoint.

Reacting to Mr. Schicks rap

First off I just want to say thank you. Not many teachers put this much effort into class and I think its really cool that you do. I thought the rap was very interesting. It was obviously to the tune of low by flo rida. I lime how instead of the chorus repeating low, it repeated Rome. The lyrics in the beginning were a bit hard to understand but then I started to understand them. Thank you again this is really cool
